EASE ASTHMA THE NATURAL WAY
Asthmex contains a combination of natural ingredients to help restore lung
function and reduce histamine release from allergic reactions.
Vasaka is a unique herb that helps support the bronchial function with broncho
dilatory, expectorant and mucolytic properties. The leaves, flowers, fruits
and roots are extensively used for treating cold, cough, whooping-cough, chronic
bronchitis and asthma, helping to restore lung function. It acts as a sedative-expectorant
and antispasmodic. In acute stages of bronchitis it gives unfailing relief,
especially where the sputum is thick and sticky. It liquefies the sputum so
that it is brought up more easily.
Quercitin a bioflavonoid, is particularly effective as an antidote to Hayfever
and Asthma. Quercitin inhibits the release of histamine which helps mitigate
conditions brought on by these types of allergin. It is found in berries in
particular and also improves the health of capillaries and connective tissues
which can help alleviate bruising, oedema, varicose veins, and fragile capillaries.
Bromelain has been shown to be a natural anti-inflammatory agent and reduces
white blood cell counts, which increase with the onset of asthma. In one study
the main inflammatory cells associated with asthma, were reduced by more than
50% in the lungs of those using Bromelain regularly. Quercitin works synergistically
with bromelain in suppressing the inflammation of allergic reactions, as well
as the excessive inflammation that results from bruising and tissue damage.
Coleus Forskholii is included because it has been traditionally used for respiratory
disorders as it can relax bronchial smooth muscle tissue resulting in an increase
of airways diameter. Vitamin B6 plays a similar role, and can also offset some
of the ?damage? medications commonly prescribed for asthma have
? they can actually induce Vitamin B6 deficiency, again exacerbating the
asthma!
Magnesium the final ingredient is also essential for proper lung functioning
and in particular magnesium sulfate. A study reported in the Lancet, showed
that people who have diets low in magnesium, have more asthmatic symptoms and
that low polymorphonuclear magnesium was observed in patients with bronchial
asthma.
